In honor of Corporal Chuck Smith, a Narcotics Detective in the Beckley Police Department, who gave
his life in the line of duty. This event will raise funds to grant scholarships to kids, enabling
them to join the YMCA. It will offer children the opportunity to develop moral character while promoting a healthy, drug-free
lifestyle. The run is open to the public and all members of law enforcement.

and female, law enforcement, and age group finishers for the 5k & 10k runs. Overall winners not eligible for age
group awards.
