School Swim League has been changed for this year. Please read the below information regarding all
the changes.
- Registration will be held from February 25 through March 21.
- Practice will begin on March 24 and will be from (TBA) for all teams.
- Practice will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday the first week.
- After the first week, we will have practice on Monday and Tuesday, and meets will be held on Thursday nights.
- Warmups for the meet will be at 5:00 and the meet will start at 5:40.
- The last week of the league, practice will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with the Championship meet
and League party that Saturday.

- What ages can participate? Ages 5-14
- When are practices? Practice will be held Mondays and Tuesdays
from 6:00-7:00 p.m. The first and last week of the league we will hold practices on Thursday night as well.
- When are the swim meets? Meets will be held on Thursday nights with warmups
starting at 5:00 p.m. and the meet starting at 5:30 p.m. Meets will start in April. The Championship meet will
be held Saturday, May 3!
- What about during
Raleigh County Spring Break? There will be no practices or competitions held during Spring Break.
- Does
my child need to know how to swim? Yes! All participants are required to be able to swim
the length of our pool (25m) without stopping or without flotation assistance.
- Is any competitive swim training neccessary? No, as long as your child can make it across the pool, we will work with them to help them develop
a competitive stroke.
- What is the cost? The price for Y-Members is $25. Non-members are $50.

- What equipment is
necssary? All your little olympian needs to participate is a swimsuit and a pair of goggles.
Girls should wear a one-piece suit.
